Jordan appoints a charge de affairs in Israel

The spokesman for the Jordanian foreign ministry Ali al-Ayed was appointed a charge de affairs for the Jordanian embassy in Tel Aviv. A Jordanian official said that "Ali al-Ayed will assume his post on the first of January 2005."
Al-Ayed was appointed in succession if Mazin al-Tel who assumed this post in Tel Avic since 2001. Al-Ayed ( 40 year old) has a vast experience in the Jordanian diplomatic activities. He was appointed a charge de affairs in the Jordanian embassy to Washington between 1997- 2001.
