New leader for al-Qaida organization in Saudi Arabia

Sawt al-Jihad ( the voice of struggle) on the Internet said on Monday that the Saudi branch of al-Qaida organization ( al-Qaida organization in the Arab peninsula) chose a new leader, the Saudi Saud Bin Hammoud al-Oteibi, who was placed by the Saudi authorities on the list of 26- most wanted persons.
Al-Oteibi was described as the new leader for the organization and the website published his resume. The Internet users were invited to extend congratulations to the new leader by the e-mail. Al-Oteibi signed the recent issue of the organization's magazine but did not announce he is the leader. An electronic message was issued on the occasion of the fasting month of Ramadan believed to be by al-Oteibi.
However, the Saudi Institute which takes Washington as a headquarters, which regularly issues news pertaining to Saudi Arabia said in an E mail that al-Oteibi ( 33 year old) has become the new leader for al-Qaida in Saudi Arabia in succession to Saleh al-Oufi who was killed by the authorities several months ago.
