Riyadh: three suspects were detained, weapons confiscated

The Saudi authorities said that it detained in Riyadh three persons suspected to be terrorists, having weapons and ammunition.

The Saudi news agency quoted a statement by the ministry of the interior that the three suspected men were arrested in Riyadh on Sunday giving no hints to their identity. The ministry said the security forces detained on Sunday morning in Riyadh " one member of the mislead group." It added that the security forces detained later two other suspects in two different areas of Riyadh and confiscated weapons and ammunition including "explosives and capsules for blowing up explosive materials and bombs."
