al-Jazeera: new threats against the US by Bin laden
Regional-USA, Politics, 10/30/2004
Leader of al-Qaida organization, Osama Bin Laden, threatened in a new video tape broadcast by al-Jazeera TV on Friday evening of striking the US once again. He considered that the reasons for repeating what had happened on September 11, 2001 are still there.
He added four days before the American presidential elections that though the September 11 attacks have entered their fourth year, the American president George W. Bush still practices deception and hiding facts from the Americans, noting that "the reasons to repeat what had happened are still there."
Bin Laden said "We are free people to that we do not keep silence towards repression and we want to restore back freedom to our nation. You violate our security, we violate yours." He considered that the security of the Americans is linked to the policy pursued by them regardless of the winner in the elections. He explained your "security is not in the hands of Kerry, or Bush or al-Qaida. Your security is only in your own hands. Each and every state which does not violate our security will spontaneously ensure its security."
Bin Laden talked about the American elections when he ridiculed Bush's slowness in moving after attacking the First Tower of the World Trade Center in New York. The issue which was used by the Democrats in their election campaign to criticize the republican president.
Al-Qaida leader said noting to one of the executors of the attacks "we have agreed with the general prince Muhammad Atta to complete all operations within 20 minutes before Bush and his administration notice the attacks." Adding "it never came to our minds that the general commander of the American armed forces will leave 50,000 of his citizens in the two towers to face these hard difficulties alone at a time when they are drastically in need of him. This allowed us three folds of set time to execute the operation. Thanks God."
Bush in the days of the attack was on a visit to one school when one of his escorts notified him of the attack on the first tower in New York, but he remained still among children and moved only after a while.
Bin Laden explained the reasons which pushed him to carry out September attacks. He said "it never came to our minds to attack the towers, but after we have seen of repression resulted from the American- Israeli alliance against our people in Palestine and Lebanon, these came to my mind." He added that the invasion of Lebanon by Israel with the American green light created a strong feeling in him to punish the aggressors.
The leader of al-Qaida organization strongly criticized the current American administration and compared it to Arab regimes. He said "we find a great difficulty in dealing with the American President George Bush due to the similarities between him and the regimes in our countries, with many of these countries ruled by soldiers and the other half by children of kings and Presidents.. we have a long experiences with them." He said " in the two sides, there are many who are known for their prejudice and money love." He explained that these similarities appeared since the visits made by George Bush, the father, to the region, in remarks to the former US President who established close relations with the Arab states especially in the Gulf area until the beginning of the 1990s.
Bin Laden accused George Bush, the father, of being affected by the Arab region. He said "at a time when people of our same skin ( the Arabs) were stunned by America hoping these visits will influence our countries, he became influenced by these royal and military regimes, envying them how they could stay scores of years in their posts stealing the people assets. He ( Bush the father) transferred the police of repression to his son and called it a national law under the pretext of fighting terrorism, in remarks to the new laws approved in the USA to fighting terrorism after September 11 attacks.
Bin Laden continued "Bush the father liked having children assume power from their father in the USA and he did not forget to transfer his experience in falsifying from heads of states in the region to Florida, to make use of these experiences in critical moments, in remarks to the delay which took place in announcing the results of the American Presidential elections in 2000 because of the almost equal votes in Florida between the two candidates then, the Republican the current President George Bush and the Democratic Al Gore.
