Palestinian child killed on her way to school; Gaza: one Israeli was killed 6 injured

One Israeli soldier was killed and other 6 injured in an attack by the Palestinian resistance by mortars against their base near the Jewish settlement of Morag in Gaza, where an eight-year-old Palestinian child was killed while on her way to school.

In a statement, the occupation army said that one of its soldiers was killed and other 6 injured in a Palestinian attack by two mortars at their base near Morag, noting that the base was also exposed to fire from Palestinian resistance men. In a statement issued in Gaza, Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack, stressing that its fighters fired six mortars shelling at Morag which is situated to the north of the city of Rafah.

One Qassam missile fell in one of the west Negev towns near Sdeirout town yesterday fired from Beit Lahia, according to the Israeli army. On Wednesday evening, one Qassam missile fell in an open area near Cupitis ( Saed) in the western Negev. Eearlier, two Qassam missiles fell on Wednesday morning in Sdeirout area.

Meantime, witnesses said that the girl Rania Arrad ( 8 years old) was killed by the Israeli bullets in Khan Younis after she had left her house for her school situated in al-Amal quarters and the bullets fired from one Israeli position at the outskirts of Ghoush Katif settlement complex.

Meantime, the official of al-Aqsa martyrs group in Qalqilya Ibrahim Eysa Fayed ( 47 year old) was killed and another resistance man was injured by the Israeli fire near the city while a third fled, according to Israeli military and Palestinian security sources.

The occupation soldier killed Muhammad Abu Ateya during a demonstration in Jenin camp. Other reports said he was killed while taking his breakfast. Earlier in the day, five Palestinian were injured in the camp on which curfew was imposed while they were taking part in a demonstration during which they threw stones on the Israeli soldiers.
