Al-Baz: withdrawal from Gaza should be a step towards implementing Roadmap

President Mubarak yesterday telephoned Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and inquired after his health Palestine satellite channel reported that the two leaders discussed, during the call, the latest developments on the Palestinian arena, efforts exerted for ending the Israeli aggression and commitment to the Roadmap.
Ossama Al-Baz, the Presidential Political Advisor said that information availabled to us on the health condition of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat is that his case is not dangerous but required a small surgery and he is recuperating now.
He said that the picture would change in the upcoming stage. However, he said that change could start with abandoning violence and counter violence.
He said that Egypt does not impose anything on the Palestinians but gives advice and provide better atmosphere.
He said that the plan on withdrawal from Gaza should serve as a step towards full and comprehensive implementation of the Roadmap Peace Plan.
