Three Iraqis were killed in Falluja, London studies hostage's request
Iraq, Military, 10/28/2004

The American army killed three persons today at dawn in a raid launched by its warplanes against al-Golan quarters in Falluja to the west of Baghdad.

So far the American forces have not admitted this raid to have taken place. Such raids are often frequent since the collapse of the Iraqi government in 2003, under the pretext that Falluja people shelter fighters belonging to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

The northern part of al-Ramadi city to the west of Baghdad was exposed to American artillery bombardment and well informed sources said that clashes took place in the area between gunmen and the American Marines.

In al-Daloueya, to the north of Baghdad, two persons were killed in confrontations between the American forces and gunmen from the south of the town. One American military spokesman said that the two victims fell during confrontations with gunmen when the American army held an inspection campaign in al-Dalpueya.

In Baghdad, one civilian was killed and other three injured in a bomb explosion under a car on Wednesday evening on the road leading to the airport.

Meantime, the British foreign office announced it "studies very carefully the answer it will give after broadcasting a new tape for the British hostage Margaret Hassan," held in Iraq in which she once again called on London to withdraw its forces from Iraq.

The director of "Care" humanitarian organization who was kidnapped by gunmen in Baghdad on October 19 demanded in a video tape broadcast by al-Jazeera TV her country to release the Iraqi women prisoners from jails.

The new appeal by the British hostage coincided with the beginning of the British forces redeployment near Baghdad, as the first contingent left its positions in Basra and moved northward to the southern areas of Baghdad.

The number of the British force which will replace American forces toll 850 soldiers.

The Blair government has recently agreed to transfer some of its forces outside Basra governorate to compensate members of the American marine troops which will carry out the invasion of Falluja with the objective to totally subjugate it to the interim Iraqi government before the elections.
