New Lebanese government formed

Lebanese new Premier Omar Karami said Tuesday his newly-appointed 30- member government including two women for the first time in the history of Lebanon will hold its first session today morning to form a ministerial committee and formulate the ministerial statement.
Karami, following the announcement of the formation of the Lebanese new Cabinet, said in a statement that his government will be in harmony with its actions, and that it will work in the interest of Lebanon and the Lebanese people.
He added that the government's first priority is to tackle the economic and living issues in addition to putting a law for the next election. Karami said that there is no difference in Lebanon, stressing the work under the umbrella of al-Taif Accord.
