Knesset approves Sharon plan for Gaza pullout; 17 Palestinians killed in the Israeli operation,

Israel's Prime Minister Ariel Sharon last night "won a resounding Knesset victory for his historic disengagement plan" to pull out of Gaza Strip, Haaretz reported today.
Meantime, One Palestinian was killed after he was hit by bullets of one Israeli soldier yesterday morning in Rafah to the south of Gaza, at a time when the occupation army started withdrawal from Khan Younis following the military operation in which some 17 Palestinians were killed and inflected huge damages.
A Palestinian medical source said that Abdul Aziz Mu'ammar ( 28 year old) was hit by one bullet in his stomach fired by the occupation forces near Sofa crossing which is for transporting cement materials.
The occupation army started yesterday withdrawal from Khan Younis following the military operation which lasted for 48 hours and resulted in killing 17 and injuring 76 others, 12 of them are in a critical health condition.
One helicopter for the occupation army raided Khan Younis on Monday evening and this resulted in killing one Palestinian. The occupation army said that it launched during night time an operation in four quarters of Khan younis from which mortars were fired at Jewish settlements in Gaza.
Meantime, witnesses said that Palestinian resistance men in north Gaza opened one locally made missile on Israel and a strong explosion was heard at Beit Hanoun crossing. The occupation army said that the resistance men fired three shelling at the crossing giving no details on clashes.
Meanwhile, UNRWA said that the occupation army caused great destruction in the area and 23 houses were destroyed during the military operation and destroying roads, and water drainage system.
