Judicial organization establishes in Egypt a committee to defend Semitism

One of the Egyptian human rights organization has established a committee in defense of Semitism in the world aiming at helping the Arab citizens to benefit from the American law which makes it obligatory for the US Department Of State to monitor anti-Semitic practices in the world.

The "Arab defense society" which was established in 2000 "to defend the image of the Arabs abroad" announced yesterday the establishment of a committee in defense of Semitism because of the "repeated insults and damages to the Arabs who are Semites." The organization called on the "Semites in the world and the establishments in defense of Semitism and human rights to monitor attempts targeting Semitism and Semites and to contact the society's center in Cairo or its branches abroad to pursue the aggressors according to the texts of the international law and laws pertinent to several countries in the world especially those issued recently in the USA."

The founder of the society Atif Labib al-Najmi said "we want to make use of the new American law in order to protect the Arabs, should this law actually be aimed at defending all Semites and not only the Jews."
