A human massacre in Iraq

In the largest attack targeting volunteers in the new Iraqi army, the bodies of 43 volunteers and five civilian drivers were found between Baladrose and Badra area and Jassan to the south east of Baqouba.
Member of the governorate council of Deyali Khadeija Muhammad said that unidentified gunmen implanted an ambush for those volunteers while heading for their houses in the southern al-Kout and al-Amara governorates after they had completed a training course of 20 days in Qara Qoush and held them and they executed them by bullets.
In Karbala, Muslim al-Tai, the legitimate representative of Ayatullah Hussein al-Sader, member of the Iraqi national council was killed after gunmen opened fire at him in the northern part of the city.
In another development, news reports quoted a police man in the Iraqi police as announcing the beginning of an inspection operation for weapons in al-Sader city yesterday after the end of the handing up process of weapons two days ago.
Concerning the developments of the series of hostages, the French photographer Korintin Flouri who was kidnapped for a short time in Falluja on Saturday announced that his kidnappers released him.
Meantime, voices were heard loud in Baghdad's churches to release the British hostage Margaret Hassan, the head of Care relief organization in Iraq who was kidnapped on Tuesday.
Meantime, The group of al-Jihad Qaida in al-Rafedeyn ( Mesopotamia ) -- former al-Tawhid Wal Jihad group -- led by Abu Musab al-Zarwai claimed responsibility for the operation of killing 49 members of the Iraqi national guards.
A statement by the group published on an Islamic web on the Internet said that its military wing implanted an ambush for members of the national guards after they had left from Qurrat Qoush camp situated between Balad rose and Mandali to the east of the country, while they were heading to southern Iraq in a vacation.
In another development, the Bulgarian ministry of defense announced the killing of one of its soldiers in Iraq and injuring of other three in an explosion of a booby trapped truck within their military vehicle in kerbalaa to the south of Iraq.
