Moroccan Gendarmerie seized more than 73 tons of cannabis in Tangier region

The Moroccan "Gendarmerie Royale" has seized more than 73 tons of cannabis in several operations conducted during the first week of October in the Moroccan Northern region of Tangier.
The rural police said the largest catches took place in rugged mountainous regions close to the towns of Chefchaouen and Larache. In the commune of Boujediane, the Gendarmerie grabbed 20.5 tons of cannabis and 30 kilograms of cannabis condensed powder (chira).
