Spain keen on fostering dialog on fisheries with Morocco

Spanish fisheries minister, Elena Espinosa said her country tries to foster "a dialogue climate" with Morocco so that the European Union restores the fishing agreement with the Kingdom.
Speaking before the Senate on Wednesday, Espinosa said "Spain can play a mediating role or foster a climate of dialogue between Morocco and the European Union, thanks to our fishing expertise. "This would not interfere with the Union's competence regarding fisheries agreements," she added.
The Spanish official said Morocco and Spain are determined to "widen their cooperation in all Fisheries-related area," reiterating the Spanish government will to do away with " the confrontation created with Morocco."
