Iraqis killed in al-Ramadi, bombardment renewed against Falluja

News reports said that at least two Iraqis were killed during clashes which took place on Thursday evening in al-Ramadi city to the west of Iraq between gunmen and the American forces in al-Mal'ab ( playground) area and ( the 20th street) quarters and the Industrial quarters to the east of the city.
This coincided with the renewed bombardment of the US tanks and planes of the city of Falluja. Violent explosions were heard in al-Shuhada quarters to the south of Falluja, and columns of smoke were seen.
One American military spokesman said that the American bombardment targeted weapons shelters for the Jordanian Abu Musab al-Zarqawi to the southern east of the city. Prior to that, clashes in light weapons took place between the American forces and gunmen after Marines positions near the city were exposed to RPJ and mortars shelling.
In Musil to the north of Iraq, gunmen attacked by mortars one American base in the city while the Iraqi prime minister Eyad Allawi was visiting the city.
In a later development news reports said that five women employees in the office of the interim Iraqi President Ghazi Elyawer were killed while another one was injured when gunmen attacked a bus carrying them to their work place in the downtown of Baghdad.
News reports also said that one booby trapped car went off after its driver targeted the American forces positioned before the municipal building of al-Ishaqi to the north of Baghdad. The attack, according to the people of the area, resulted in injuring several American soldiers, destruction of one American armored vehicle and damaging of some adjoining buildings.
In earlier field developments at least 4 Iraqis were killed and other 11 injured in an armed attack against a bus carrying employees in Baghdad's International Airport. Two other Iraqis were killed by the bullets of the American forces in Abu Ghreib area to the west of Baghdad and four Iraqi police and national guards members were injured in a booby trapped car explosion in the downtown of Baqouba to the northern west of Baghdad. Al-Karmeh village to the west of Baghdad witnessed a big demonstration in protest of detaining two Iraqi women.
