Engineer of al-Qassam missile killed by Israeli forces

One of the key figures of Ezz Eddine al-Qassam group, the military wing of the Islamic resistance movement ( Hamas), was killed by two missiles fired by one Israeli reconnaissance plane at a car in Haifa street in Gaza.

News reports confirmed the assassination of Adnan al-Gul who is considered one of the key engineers for al-Qassam explosives and missiles in Hamas movement. Imad Abbas who was accompanying al-Gul was also killed while other 6 of the passersby were injured.

The recent Israeli raids concluded a series of operations that targeted al-Gul who was placed by the occupation forces on top of its operations priority.

News reports said that the military leader in Hamas movement was exposed earlier to several assassination attempts especially after the eruption of al-Aqsa Intifada. Two of these attempts resulted in killing his two sons Bilal and Muhammad while he survived.

This operation came hours after the killing of one Israeli soldier in Rafah area to the south of Gaza by an explosion Hamas movement claimed responsibility for it.

Hamas claimed responsibility for launching one Qassam missile at Sedrout settlement. News reports said it is the first missile launched by Hamas since the end of what is called the "Israel days of redemption" in north Gaza which lasted for 16 days and resulted in killing 130 persons, one third of them are children.

Prior to that, two Palestinians were killed by the Israeli bullets while trying to carry out a Fedayeen operation against one Israeli military position near Nahal crossing to the east of al-Shuja'eya quarters in Gaza.

Palestinian sources said that one of the two men ( Islam al-Wadeyah, 24 year old) is a member of al-Quds group, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement while the other is a member in al-Aqsa movement of the Palestine national liberation front ( Fatah).

Palestinian medical sources also announced the death of citizen Muhammad Abu Khalila ( 30 year old) because of his wounds he had in Jabalia camp for the Palestinian refugees during the Israeli attacks.
