Syria, Agha Khan network for health co-operation

Syria's Health Minister Maher al-Husami on Wednesday reviewed with Representative of Agha Khan Network in Syria, Mohammed Mufdi Saifo, joint cooperation and programs between the Ministry and the Network and ways of developing them during the forthcoming period.
Both sides concentrated on the necessity of supporting the nursery schools and to improve the scientific level of the teaching staff at these schools.
Talks also dealt with the hospitals situation, showing interest in improving the English language for the nurses.
Both sides agreed on the formation of a working team of both sides to put a cooperation plan for the years 2005-2006 giving priority to nursery and training the technical cadres working in new Salamieh hospital, in Hama governorate of central Syria.
