Burns in Egypt to prepare for the international conference on Iraq

The US Department Of State said on Monday that the US under secretary of state for the Middle East affairs, William Burns, will head for Egypt in order to prepare for the international conference on Iraq and then will move to Morocco to prepare for another proposed conference on the Middle East.
Burns is expected to reach in Cairo today to discuss the plan for convening the conference which will bring in by the end of November, most expectedly in Sharm Esh Sheikh, Iraq's neighboring states and the G-8 members, the UN, the Arab League and the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
Aftermath, Burns will head for Morocco which will host in December a conference on democratic, economic and social affairs in the Islamic Arab world. A project which is sponsored by the US administration. Burns decided to end his tour in Brussels where he will be holding talks with the officials of the European union and the NATO.
