Syrian- Jordanian agreement on border demarcation

The Jordanian daily al-Dostour reported yesterday that Amman and Damascus reached a new agreement on their border demarcation in order to deal with the issue of the problem of land intermingling between the two sides.
The paper quoted "well informed sources" that the two sides " agreed that border are to be demarcated between them according to 1923 borders. A situation which was agreed upon 12 years ago when the same committee met for the last time in Damascus."
