Egypt-Saudi Arabia, Economics, 10/12/2004
Egypt's Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmi discussed on Monday with Abdullah Jum'ah, Chairman of Saudi Aramco, vistas for furthering cooperation between the two sides.
Fahmi said that they agreed to further study the construction of an oil pipeline to carry oil from Sedi Krir in Alexandria to the Red Sea port of Al-Ain Al-Sukhna.
India is willing to co-finance the project, said the minister. Jum'ah, for his part, reiterated his country's keenness on promoting oil cooperation with Egypt.
