Yadhout Ahronout: Israel denied detention of Mossad's agents in Syria

The Israeli daily Yadhout Ahronout quoted Israeli sources' "strong denial " of a news broadcast by the Qatari al-Jazeera TV which said yesterday that the Syrian security forces recently arrested four Israeli intelligence ( Mossad) agents suspected to attempt to assassinate the chairman of the Hamas movement's political bureau Khaled Mashaal in Syria.
Al-Jazeera said that the four suspects, three men and one woman were detained upon monitoring the house of Khaled Mashaal inside a blue Mercedes bearing the plates of a neighboring Arab state. The TV added that the four persons were recruited by the Israeli Mossad.
