American raid on Falluja resulted in killing 11 Iraqis

Some 11 persons were killed and the other 17 injured with most of them women and children in an air attack launched by the American warplanes yesterday early morning at Falluja city to the west of Baghdad.
Medical sources in Falluja said that the American bombardment targeted "a house where a wedding party was held and most of the victims of the raid were women and children." While medical sources said that the " bombardment targeted a house where a wedding was held, the American army said that the attack "which was directed, precisely hit a house used by the supporters of the Jordanian Abu Musab al-Zarqawi."
Meantime, the American army said that the one soldier was killed and another injured in a bomb explosion when a military vehicle was running in Touz Khormati town to the south of Karkouk city.
Meantime, a source in the national guard in Karkouk announced the killing of one Iraqi police officer and injuring two policemen yesterday when gunmen opened fire at their vehicle.
