Number of Taba explosions killings increased, Islamic groups claim responsibility

The Israeli army radio announced that the number of the Israelis killed in the explosions which targeted on Thursday evening Taba Hilton hotel and two touristic sites in Sinai increased to 27.

In a new development, a group calling itself "Kataeb al-Tawhid al-Slameyah" ( Islamic al-Tawhid groups) claimed responsibility for the explosions. In a special statement on the Internet, not confirmed to be authentic yet, the group said that four of its members "carried out the blessed Sinai attack on the land of al-Kenana ( Egypt) which has been converted into a resort for each and every unbeliever."

The statement said that these attacks came to revenge the Sheikh of Mujahideen Sheikh Ahmad Yassin. Meantime, "martyr Abdullah Azzam groups" which confirms links to al-Qaida organization claimed responsibility for the Taba explosions, in a statement issued in an Islamic site on the Internet.

The statement, which is not possible to make sure off, said that "Groups of martyrs Abdullah Azzam is happy to announce to our Arab and Islamic nations the news of the heroic martyrdom operation on the land of Kenana ( Egypt), so as our sons in the group of leader Khattab to purify the land of Taba from the dirt and corruption of the grandchildren of monkeys and pigs."
