Sahara conflict settlement to lessen tensions in Maghreb region, Gabonese official
Morocco-Gabon, Politics, 10/8/2004
First advisor of Gabon's permanent mission in the United Nations, Alfred M. Moussotsi, underlined Wednesday in New York that the settlement of the Sahara conflict would reduce tensions in the Maghreb and allow the region to play its role fully in Mediterranean.
Moussotsi underlined before the UN 4th Commission that in the current phase the UN assembly General can only continue to encourage and help parties negotiate a political solution to the regional dispute on the Moroccan Sahara.
