Kuwait: Seven American military men injured by helicopter crash

The American army announced that one American military helicopter crashed in an American base in Kuwait on Thursday, and this resulted in slight injuries among its seven member crew.

A statement by the fifth American fleet which takes Bahrain as a headquarters said that the helicopter used in transporting goods and search and rescue operations crashed immediately after it had taken off from Areifjan Camp Base to the south of Kuwait.

The spokesman for the fifth American fleet James Gribel said that "there is nothing at the moment to indicate that the crash of the plane was a result being exposed to enemy fire."
