American soldier killed in Falluja; Iraqi press man killed in Musil

The American army announced yesterday that one of its soldiers was killed and two others injured on Wednesday evening in an attack on their procession near Falluja city to the west of Baghdad.
A statement by the American army said that "an explosive" was used in the attack. It explained that the three soldiers were admitted to hospital and one of them died because of his wounds after one hour, and that one of the wounded is in a critical health situation and the second is in a stable condition.
In Musil, one official in one of the Iraqi TV stations was killed yesterday by the bullets of unidentified persons. The Iraqi police announced that unidentified gunmen opened fire at engineer Ahmad Jasem, the director of reports in Ninwa TV in al-Baker quarters in the downtown of al-Musil and he was killed immediately.
