Amir of Qatar in a vacation in Beirut

The Aamir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani arrived yesterday evening in Beirut coming from Madrid on a board of a private plane. He was accompanied by his wife Sheikha Mouza al-Masnad, the first deputy for the prime minister and the foreign minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jasem al-Thani. The visit was described by official lebanese sources as private and for a vacation.
At the airport, the Amir of Qatar was welcomed by President Emil Lahoud and his wife and the deputy prime minister Issam fares. news reports said that President Lahoud will meet with Sheikh Hamad today evening at the presidential palace in a protocol visit.
