On the hostages in Iraq

Concerning the question of the French hostagesin Iraq, the French parliamentarian Dedieh Julia said he is carrying out a parallel initiative to release two French hostages held in Iraq, and that he had lost contacts with sides concerned with this crisis..

Julia expressed his concern over the fate of the two French journalists, noting that he is ready to put all information he owns before his French peers today upon his return back to Paris in order to compare it with the information at the French foreign ministry, noting that he stayed in Syria for all this time in the hope to have the kidnapped journalists arrive there.

Concerning the question of the British hostage Kenneth Begley, his brother Paul expected Kenneth to have had been handed over to another Iraqi group.
