Eight Palestinians killed in Jabalia camp and Beit Hanoun

The number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli aggressions against Gaza yesterday increased to 8, while the Palestinian resistance is confronting the Israeli invasion.

Three Palestinians were killed in an attack against Beit Hanoun crossing (Erez) to the north of Gaza which Ezz Eddine al-Qassam -- the military wing of the Islamic resistance movement ( Hamas) -- and al-Aqsa martyrs groups of the Palestinian national liberation Movement ( Fatah).

One Israeli military spokesman said that an attempt for a suicide attack at the position was foiled and other five were arrested. News reports quoted Israeli press sources as saying that one Israeli soldier was killed in the attack.

The news reports explained that the killed are Tamer Dreimi, Muhammad Salem from al-Qassam groups, Raed al-Haj from al-Aqsa group, adding that the occupation forces detained several members of the Palestinian general security.

Earlier, three Palestinians were killed and other 20 injured in a new bombardment by one Israeli helicopter of the camp. The news report said that two of the killed were from al-Qassam groups and the third is from al-Aqsa group.

Both Jihad Abu al-Jbein and Mustafa Hamas from al- Qassam group were killed in an air raid against the camp. Hundreds of the people of camp eulogized several Palestinians who were killed as a result of the Israeli bombardment which has been continuous since three days.

Other news reports said that the Palestinian resistance succeeded in blowing up one Israeli tank by an explosive in al-Sekka street to the east of Jablai camp while military operations continue in parts of the camp amid intensive fire and clashes with resistance members.

Meantime, the Israeli army announced that two missiles launched by Palestinians in Seidrout area to the south of Israel exploded but no casualties were reported.
