Continued efforts to release the French hostages

The French foreign minister Michael Barnieh asked his ministry's secretary general Jan Pierre Lavon to head for Amman in the course of the efforts made to release the two French journalists George Malbrono and Christian Shino who have been held in Iraq since 50 days.
On the other hand, an Islamic group in Iraq announced it is holding ten hostages including two Lebanese working in "Jbeil company for electrical equipment," two women from Indonesia and six Iraqis. A spokesman for the Indonesian foreign ministry confirmed news of detaining the two Indonesian women.
In this context, one official in the Lebanese foreign ministry said that Imad Basilla, the Lebanese who was kidnapped by one unidentified group in Iraq was released and he is in a good health conditions.
