Egypt-Iraq, Local, 9/30/2004

Four Egyptian communication engineers, who were taken hostage in Iraq last week, returned late Wednesday home boarding an Iraqi private plan. Amir Eissa, Medhat Abdel Aziz, Tarek Abdel Latif and Ala Maher were kidnapped last week by an Iraqi militant group.

The four worked for Orascom's Iraqi telecommunications company setting up the mobile network for central Iraq. Other 125 Egyptian workers in Iraq have returned on the same plane after receiving kidnapping threats.
