Andre Azoulay, advisor of king Mohammed VI, told a press conference, the expo is a testimony of one the most eminent photographers in the world about a country that has always been a reflection of peace and hospitality in an international environment increasingly marked by violence.
Azoulay and the American artist said this event is an expression of a country's will to advance in the economic, political and cultural levels.
Watson, born in 1942 worked for several magazines including Rolling Stone, Time and Newsweek. His book on Morocco won an award from the American Institute of Graphic Art in 1998.
