Two British soldiers killed in Iraq

Two British soldiers were killed and a third was injured in an operation that targeted a military convoy in Basra. Two Iraqis were injured in the operation; one of them is a child. No side has yet claimed responsibility for the operation.

In Falluja, three Iraqis were killed and other 6 wounded in raids carried out by the American jets today at dawn.

In Baghdad explosions were heard in Haifa streets while the American military copters bombarded al-Sader city. Witnesses said that one Iraqi was injured when three mortars shelling fell before one American military base at the entrance of al-Sader city.

In a later development; Ukraine decided to make gradual reduction of the number of its soldiers in Iraq. The current number is 1600 troops.
