Three Iraqis killed in Falluja, confrontations continue in Iraq

The American forces killed three persons and injured other six in raids carried out by the American planes today at dawn on Falluja city to the west of Baghdad, while the American army said that one raid was made against the city today at four a. m (local time) against positions thought to be for fighters of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi; news reports coming from there said the American planes waged two rounds of air raids against the city.

The bombardment came following similar bombardment by the American forces against areas near the highway and the bombardment resulted in killing four persons and injuring two others. In the outskirts of al-Sader city in Baghdad violent bombardment was heard today morning believed to be from the fire of the American tanks, following air attacks that lasted all the evening.

The US army whose tanks roamed the city streets today denied the bombardment. The American raids against the city yesterday resulted in killing more than 6 persons and injuring other 46 including 15 women and 9 children.
