"Israeli authorities have taken a dangerous step this morning by the assassination of the Palestinian citizen, Izzuddin al-Sheikh Khalil, who was living in Syria after he had been deported by Israeli occupation authorities to Marj al-Zuhour in Lebanon during the first Intifada in 1992," an official source told the Syrian Arab News Agency SANA.

American soldiers injured in two booby trapped cars explosions near Falluja
An American military spokesman said that two booby trapped cars blew up near a headquarter of the Iraqi national guards in one of Falluja suburbs and this resulted in injuring several American and Iraqi soldiers. No more information was available on the nature of the explosion and number of victims.
