More kidnapping operations in Iraq

Once again, the number of hostages in Iraq has increased with a confirmation made by the Egyptian foreign ministry on kidnapping 6 Egyptians working in Iraq for "Iraqna" company for mobile telephones. One from the Egyptian "Orascom" company in addition to kidnapping two Iraqis working in the same company.

The wife of the Egyptian kidnapped Mahmoud Turkey appealed for his release. She said she finds no justification for his kidnapping especially that the company he works for has no problems with the Iraqis.

No new information was revealed on the British kidnap Kenneth Begley or the two Italian women Simona Bari and Simona Torita about whom a statement was issued on the internt announcing their killing. The spokesman for the Muslim Scholars Commission, Sheikh Abdul Ghafour al-Samera', ruled out that the kidnappers executed the two Italian women, expecting that they were kidnapped for non-political reasons.
