Times of India: India considers Egypt's oil pipeline offer

"India is studying Egypt's offer to take part in an oil pipeline project.The pipeline would link the Mediterranean and the Red Sea and give India access to oil wells from the Caspian, Sea and the Black Sea," the Times of India said.
The offer was submitted by Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmy to his Indian counterpart on the sidelines of the recent OPEC meetings in Vienna last week.
The pipeline would open a sea route for Algerian and Libyan oil exports to the East, the paper added.
