One Israeli officers is among three killed Israelis in the Palestinian operation in Gaza

The Palestinian groups yesterday carried out a joint operation at a military position near Mouraj settlement to the north of Rafah to the south of Gaza that resulted in killing three Israeli soldiers, one of them is an officer and wounding other two.

News reports in Gaza said that a Palestinian group from three Palestinian sides sneaked to Mouraj settlement and clashed with the occupation soldiers in one of the positions assigned to protect the settlement. Witnesses said that the resistance succeeded in blowing up a military vehicle ridden by several soldiers inside the position.

The Israeli radio said that three of the armed Palestinian equipped with automatic riffles and bombs sneaked to a military position and opened fire at the Israeli soldiers and this resulted in killing three soldiers. The radio added that the army was able to kill two of the armed men while they are searching for the third.

On the other hand, the media spokesman for the Group of Martyr Ahmad Abu al-Reish, Abu Haroun, denied the news of the killing of the two Palestinian gunmen. He explained that the operation was carried out by three military wings of Saraya al-Quds, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad; Salah Eddin group, the military wing of the resistance committees and Group of Martyr Ahmad Abu al-Reish which belongs to Fatah movement.
