U.S. Treasury Delegation in Damascus discuss bank money laundering charges

A U.S. delegation of Department of Treasury held discussions at the Commercial Bank of Syria with a number of official circles.
Both sides discussed a number of issues connected to the accusations directed against the Syrian Commercial Bank in the framework of so-called "Syria Accountability Act", al-Thawra daily newspaper said Tuesday.
The accusations alleged that the Bank was involved in money laundering, which the Bank completely denied, the paper added.
The visit of the American delegation comes in the framework of the standing contacts and dialogue between the U.S. and Syria.
