Conference in Jordan on Arab economic integration

The Arab trade and economic integration conference opens today in the Jordanian University, at a vast Arab participation.
The dean of the higher studies faculty in the Jordanian university, Suleiman al-Khalil, said that the conference concentrates on four pillars dealing with the issue of inter-Arab trade: reality and prospects of development, international challenges and the flow of Arab capital.
He also indicated to the main issue on future prospects to develop inter- Arab trade, and Arab integration especially the Arab customs federation project.
The conference which lasts for three days discusses means of attaining economic integration by finding out realistic mechanism for inter-trade among the Arab states.
The conference is organized by the higher studies faculty and the Jordanian university in collaboration with the Arab organization for administrative Development, which affiliates to the Arab League.
