Egypt, Morocco sign agreement to foster tourism cooperation

Egypt signed Wednesday with the Moroccan Federation for Tourism (FMT) a cooperation accord to foster cooperation in this realm.
The agreement was concluded on the fringes of the Travel Fair in the Mediterranean, held on September 14-16.
Egyptian Tourism Minister, Ahmed El Maghribi, called on this occasion for the promotion of tourism between the two sides, highlighting the important potentials in Morocco and Egypt.
A working session was held to examine cooperation prospects between Moroccan and Egyptian travel agencies and the Moroccan airliner Royal Air Maroc (RAM).
Some 10,000 Moroccan tourists visit Egypt every year and nearly a similar number of Egyptian tourists go annually to Morocco.
