Palestinian woman killed in Nablus, Palestinians attack Israeli settlement in Gaza

One young Palestinian woman was killed in Gaza by the bullets of the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank on Friday evening. Palestinian medical sources said that Fareiza Menawi, 19 years old, was on the roof of her house in the northern al-Jabal quarters watching the occupation soldiers while they opened fire at the Palestinian stone throwers.

News reports in the West Bank said that armed clashes erupted between the occupation forces which broke into the city and members of the Palestinian resistance positioned in al-Dawar area. Palestinian medical sources said that the occupation soldiers injured one Palestinian activist during the confrontations.

Earlier, the occupation soldiers defused one bomb found in the old town in Nablus.

The occupation forces also detained 8 Palestinians in the West Bank. One Israeli military spokesman said that among the detainees are three from the Islamic Jihad movement in Bethlehem city.

In Gaza, the Palestinian resistance launched missile attacks against Israeli occupation positions but no information was reported on casualties. Ezz Eddine al-Qassam groups, the military wing of the Islamic resistance movement ( Hamas), claimed responsibility for firing five mortars on Mourag settlement near Rafah.

Meantime, Salah Eddine group, the military wing of the people's resistance groups, announced it fired two missiles ( Naser type) at Seidrout town inside the green line "in retaliation to the policy of assassination committed by the occupation forces against the Palestinians," according to a statement by the group.

Meanwhile, one Palestinian prisoner in the Israeli jail from the Islamic Jihad movement in the occupation jails died because of a heart attack, according to the board of Majdo jail to the north of Israel.

The prisoners held the prison's board responsible for the detainee's death because he was not given aid for four hours.
