One British was killed in Riyadh
Saudi Arabia-UK, Local, 9/16/2004

News reports said quoting eye witnesses said that one western man was killed in Saudi Arabia.

The incident took place before a trade complex on Khweis highway to the east of Riyadh.

The center's guards said that the killed man is of a British nationality and an ambulance was seen transporting the killed man from the site of the incident.

Since 19 months, supporters to al-Qaida organization have been launching a campaign of attacks against western citizens and oil sites in the kingdom that resulted in killing 90 policemen and civilians.

The Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz vowed to the Cabinet by the beginning of the current month to continue confrontation of what he called terrorism and to every and each one " who thinks of violating stability in the Kingdom."

Worthy mentioning that the Saudi government announced in June a one month pardon for the gunmen who surrender themselves. Only six of them responded, and among them only one is on a 26- name list of most wanted issued in December 2003. 10 gunmen among the persons on the list have not been captured, while the others were killed in clashes with the security forces or detained.
