In light of the Syrian-Turkish rapprochement in various economic, trade, cultural and social fields, a lot of Turkish businessmen expressed desire to learn Arabic.
During CEPIT Exhibition held lately in Istanbul, a Syrian company called "Bawaba Khadra" ( The Green Gate) for teaching Arabic for the non-native speakers attracted the attention of a great number of Turkish businessmen and citizens.
They expressed desire to learn Arabic to facilitate contact with their Syrian partners, particularly in the light of obvious growth of trade and economic cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
The Bawaba Khadra is an integrated system for teaching Arabic for the non-Arabs by using the updated computer technologies.
It is a course that addresses those who have desire to learn Arabic language in spite of their different nationalities.
A Turkish businessman, Cuneit Turku, said that he will buy this program to learn it because his establishment needs Arabic to communicate and facilitate dealings with the Arab states.
Arabic is a beautiful and cultural language and it facilitates contacts, particularly with the Syrians, he added.
