AL chief confers with China FM

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing stressed his country's desire to enhance and consolidate its relations with the Arab states. In a joint press conference with the Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, he pointed out that he agreed with Moussa on enhancing these relations.
For his part, Moussa announced that the Arab Foreign Ministers who are due to meet tomorrow with the Chinese Minister will sign a special document on setting up the Forum of Arab-Chinese Cooperation. He stressed that this document represents a new phase of political, economic, trade and cultural cooperation between the Arabs and China.
