Powell: Burns held good talks in Damascus

US Secretary of State Colin Powell has said that US Assistant Secretary of State for the Middle East Affairs William Burns had held good talks in Damascus with President Bashar al-Assad and Syrian officials, where he conveyed a message saying that "we are working through a vision of moving the relations between us."
In a TV. Interview, Powell added that Syria has an interest to keep good relations with Syria, expressing satisfaction over the talks which were held between the Iraqi interim government and Syria during the last few days.
