Some 97% of U-6 pupils schooled in 2004-05, minister

RABAT, Sep.09 (MAP)- The rate of children below 6 schooled for the 2004-05 academic year stood at 97%, announced on Thursday minister of national education, Habib El Malki.
The number of newly enrolled pupils in primary and secondary schools reached 638,000, including 43 percent of girls, said the minister in a presentation at a meeting of the governement council.
