In a new video tape broadcast by al-Jazeera, al-Zawahiri: defeat of the Americans is a matter of time

The second ranking man in al-Qaida organization, Eyman al-Zawahiri, said that the defeat of the Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan is a matter of time. He stressed that the Americans in each of the two countries are between two fires "if they continue, they will bleed to death, and if they withdraw, they loose every thing."

Al-Zawahiri indicated in a new video recording that what he had described as Mujahidoun (fighters) have turned upside down the American plans in Iraq. He ridiculed the American forces in Afghanistan and said that these forces are hiding in their ditches there.

Worthy mentioning that the last appearance for al-Zawahiri in a video tape was in March this year about which the America Central Intelligence said then it was real. In that tape, al-Zawahiri called on the Pakistani people to topple their government which is allying with Washington.

The last time al-Zawahiri and Bin Laden were seen was in a video tape was in September 2003. The two men were pictured walking in a mountainous area.

At the military support of the USA, Pakistan is trying to seize al-Zawahiri, Bin Laden and other al-Qaida members who are believed to be hiding in the mountainous area situated between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
