Morocco harvests 5 gold medals at special Olympics

Moroccan athletes made a brilliant performance at the Middle East and North Africa special Olympics for mentally impaired persons, held here September 2-7, harvesting 5 gold medals.
Ourad Sliman, Bou Dich Ibrahim and Boukhnif Choukri won 3 tennis table gold medals, while the pair Bou dich-Boukhnif won the fourth medal in double.
In the 400m race, Rahma Badoud, Kailoul Amina and Ou Lalla Nezha won respectively gold, silver and bronze medals.
Inn the 100m, Kailoul Amina won another bronze medal while Aichouch Donia came up fourth.
Eight Moroccan athletes are among the 800 coming from Tunisia, Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, UAE, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Yemen.
