Israel reopens Rafah crossing
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 9/4/2004

An Israeli force incurred yesterday in Yamoun village to the north of the West Bank. A fire was exchanged between the Israeli soldiers and Palestinian activists but no information was available on casualties. The Israeli soldiers -- who came on board of 25 armored vehicles -- besieged houses to the west of Jenin city where activists from al-Aqsa martyrs groups of the Fatah movement were hiding.

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces re-opened Rafah crossing on the border between Gaza and Egypt before the passage of commodities and good.

The Egyptian Middle East News Agency said that 50 trucks and 10 vehicles crossed the crossing which was blocked by the Israeli authorities on Wednesday before the movement of goods and the passage of the Palestinians following the twin attack in Beer Sheba to the south of Israel.
