Argentine FM meets Egyptian Nobel laureate Naguib Mahfouz

Argentine Foreign Minister Rafael Bielsa met with Egyptian Nobel laureate Naguib Mahfouz on Wednesday.
They engaged in a friendly talk about Mahfouz's writings, all of which were translated into many different languages and he also inquired after the famous novelist's health.
Noteworthy, Mahfouz was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1988, the first Arabic writer to be so honored.
According to Encyclopedia Britannica, the Son of a Civil Servant, Mahfouz attended Cairo University and worked in the cultural section of early novels, such as Radubis (1943), were set in ancient Egypt.
